Information on differentia
In the original Cantus index for this manuscript, differentiae are identified by their last note and a number to distinguish between differentiae of the same mode that end on the same note. The same differentiae codes were used in E-Tc 44.1, E-Tc 44.2, and F-Pnm lat. 1090. Where a differentia varies minimally, i.e., in neumation, a lower-case letter was included in the "Extra" field of the original index. This letters are only pertinent to the source in question, not all three sources.
